Welcome, From All of Us

My name is Judy and I live on a 400 acre farm with my husband George, son Nathan, the dog Elly, and numerous other assorted pets that inhabit a farm. I used to be a middle school teacher and enjoyed teaching physical education and health to 6-8 graders. But a devastating illness has forced me to leave teaching and stay at home. I was diagnosed with a form of pancreatitis where the ducts running to the pancreas are narrow and flattened (pancreas divisum). I require frequent hospital stays to alleviate the symptoms of this disease. My son Nathan is going on 7 months old. He is our miracle baby because he came so late in our lives. I'm 39 and George is 48 and through my sickness I was able to have a healthy child. We are truly blessed and he is the spark that keeps me going when I'm feeling bad. I'm going to use this blog for therapy and recreation since I'm home now.
