Somewhere Over the Rainbow

I was lucky to get this one. After a hell of a storm late one afternoon this beautiful ray encompassed the entire back farm. The rainbow ends beside Miss Alice's door. I've spent the last week and a half in the hospital with another pancreatic flare-up. Nathan is staying with my Mom and Patty and they have been bringing him to see me. I'm hoping to come home tomorrow if my night goes well. My care has been piss poor. Only a couple of nurses that are worth a shit, the rest are just too plain lazy and useless. I am so looking forward to going home tomorrow and being with my big and little men. Gonna start pulling out the Halloween decorations this weekend. Nathan and Elly's costumes are adorable. Nathan the little tiger and Elly, superdog! Just need costumes for me and George. I want to find something unusual so I'll hit the stores next week.

When Nathan Smiles

It truly melts my heart. He is the greatest joy that I have ever experienced. How lucky I am to have him. I am so grateful to God for allowing me have a healthy child given my own health. I have been doing ok as of late and that is all I am going to say about that.......George, Susan, Calli, Elly and I went shark tooth hunting today on the river. We found 9 teeth this dig. Not much size to them but some nice small teeth. We grilled hot dogs and Elly the dog rolled on a dead catfish head. Oh joy.....George was hip to this earlier and brought along the dawn dish washing liquid to bathe her. The wind really picked up from Hurricane Ophelia most of the day so who knows where she will end up. Somewhere close to Mary I suppose. The relief truck leaves tomorrow headed for the Gulf. The town loaded 3 trucks alone. I'm sending childrens books and clothes. My heart and prayers go out to all affected by the ravage of Katrina. Time will heal and know millions pray for you each day.
