You Will Always Be in My Heart, Mama
Mama passed away Friday April 13, 2007 from a courageous battle against mesothelioma cancer.
Mesothelioma is an extremely rare form of cancer and even rarer to be found in women. It lies dormant in the body for as many as 30 - 50 years from first exposure to asbestos.
Once symptoms present it is generally too late to do anything. A person is given 6 to 12 months to live. Mom was diagnosed in Oct. of '06 and died 6 months later. It is such a devastating disease on a person that i want no one to go through the pain and agony of watching your loving mother leave this world too early like i did.

Spread the word about Mesothelioma Cancer and get educated so we can get more research funding, which lags far behind other cancers.
I miss you Mama, I ache for your sweet smile and warm hugs and just being there when i needed you. Nathan and I will be looking for you in the stars!
