We spent an incredible week on Hatteras Island. Nathan saw the ocean for the first time and put his feet in the sand. His reaction was priceless. Smiles and giggles! This was an overdue vacation and I haven't been down here since I became ill 6 years ago. Things have changed since the hurricanes hit, but rebuilding is fast and furious. I can't wait to go back.
